The service

VisaCapAlert.com is an independent notification service. You can create a free alert, or a Premium alert — a one-time fee of $9.90 AUD, or a monthly plan while you wait — for the First Work and Holiday visa country you select. We monitor publicly available cap status information for that country and notify you when we detect that its status has changed from paused. Free alerts are delivered by email; Premium adds more frequent checks and an optional WhatsApp channel.

Alert duration and expiry

Each alert is valid until 30 June 2027 AEST, when the current annual cap period ends. During this period, we monitor your selected country and email you if we detect that its status has changed from paused.

After 30 June 2027 AEST, your alert expires automatically because the annual cap period has ended.

Premium is offered two ways. The one-time plan is a single $9.90 AUD payment and is never charged again. The monthly plan (“Pay monthly while you wait”) charges a smaller amount each month, up to a maximum of 3 payments; it ends automatically after your first reopening alert or 30 June 2027 AEST — whichever comes first — after which it continues as a free alert. You can cancel the monthly plan at any time by emailing support@visacapalert.com; already-paid months are not refunded.

To keep tracking a country in the new program year, you will need to register again.

Independent service

VisaCapAlert.com is not affiliated with the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs.

We provide status monitoring and notifications only — by email, and by optional WhatsApp on Premium. We do not provide migration advice, submit visa applications, or guarantee visa availability, eligibility, application success, or approval. You are responsible for checking your eligibility and submitting any application yourself.

Alert timing

We send alerts when we detect a relevant change in publicly available information. We aim to notify users promptly, but we cannot guarantee the exact timing of any alert delivery or that a country’s status will change.
