The service

VisaCapAlert.com is an independent notification service. You create a Premium monitoring alert for the First Work and Holiday visa country you select. We monitor publicly available cap status information for that country every minute and notify you by email when we detect that its status has changed from paused; you may optionally add a verified phone number to also be notified over WhatsApp.

Premium monitoring is available as either a one-time payment or a monthly subscription. The applicable price and currency depend on the country selected for monitoring and are displayed before you confirm payment. Both provide the identical service — the difference is only the payment structure.

Free alerts are closed to new registrations. Free alerts created before this change remain active under their existing conditions — email-only alerts from twice-daily checks, with no payment required — until 30 June 2027 AEST, after which they end.

Alert duration and expiry

Each alert is valid until 30 June 2027 AEST, when the current annual cap period ends. During this period, we monitor your selected country and email you if we detect that its status has changed from paused.

After 30 June 2027 AEST, your alert expires automatically because the annual cap period has ended.

Both payment options run for the same period. The one-time option charges the single amount displayed before purchase and is never charged again. The monthly option charges the introductory first-month amount displayed before payment, followed by the recurring monthly amount displayed for the selected country. Payments continue each month while the alert is active and stop automatically on 30 June 2027 AEST, when Premium monitoring ends. A reopening of your country does not end your alert.

You can cancel the monthly option at any time at visacapalert.com/cancel-subscription/. No further payments are taken after cancellation and already-paid months are not refunded; monitoring continues until the end of the month you have already paid for, and ends on that date.

If a scheduled monthly payment fails, your alert stays active for a further 7 days while we retry. If no payment succeeds within that period, the subscription is cancelled and the alert ends.

To keep tracking a country in the new program year, you will need to register again.

VisaCapAlert.com is not affiliated with the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs.

We provide status monitoring and notifications only — by email, and by optional WhatsApp on Premium. We do not provide migration advice, submit visa applications, or guarantee visa availability, eligibility, application success, or approval. You are responsible for checking your eligibility and submitting any application yourself.

Alert timing

We send alerts when we detect a relevant change in publicly available information. We aim to notify users promptly, but we cannot guarantee the exact timing of any alert delivery or that a country’s status will change.
