Refund Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

One-time payment

The one-time payment creates one country alert with Premium monitoring for the current annual cap period. The price and currency applicable to your purchase are shown before payment and depend on the country selected for monitoring.

It is a single payment, not a subscription. Your alert runs until 30 June 2027 AEST, when the current annual cap period ends. After that, it expires automatically. To track a country in the new cap period, you’ll need to register again.

Monthly payment option

The same Premium monitoring can also be paid monthly, at the recurring monthly amount shown for your selected country. Payments continue each month while the alert is active and stop automatically on 30 June 2027 AEST, when monitoring ends. You may cancel future payments at any time.

Outside the EU withdrawal period described below, months that have already been charged are generally not refunded. You can cancel at any time at visacapalert.com/cancel-subscription/. Cancelling stops any future payments; monitoring continues to the end of the month you have already paid for, and ends on that date.

If a scheduled payment fails, your alert stays active for a further 7 days while we retry. If no payment succeeds in that window, the subscription is cancelled and the alert ends — no charge is made.

Refunds

Premium monitoring starts the moment you pay, so purchases are generally non-refundable once an alert is active — except where a refund or a right of withdrawal is required by law. The EU right of withdrawal below is one such case.

If something went wrong with your payment or setup — for example you were charged but never received a confirmation email — please contact us and we will help.

EU Consumers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days. The 14 days run from the date the contract is concluded — the day your payment succeeds and we confirm your purchase — not from the date monitoring ends, and not from 30 June.

Where this statutory right applies, it takes precedence over the general no-refund policy above.

If you withdraw within those 14 days we refund the full amount you paid, with no deduction, and monitoring stops. Asking us to start monitoring immediately does not shorten the period or reduce the refund. Any monthly billing is cancelled at the same time.

Use the withdrawal form below. You will need the email address you bought the alert with and the country it watches; we email you a code to confirm the request is really from you. The confirmation email for your purchase also contains a direct link.

Withdraw from an EU purchase

This statutory right applies to consumers in the EU. We determine that automatically from the billing country of your payment. If we cannot confirm it automatically but you believe you are entitled to withdraw, submit the form anyway or contact us — a person will review it rather than the request being refused.

After the 14 days the statutory right no longer applies automatically and the general policy above resumes. You can still contact us; we would rather hear from you than not.

Just want to stop future payments? Cancelling stops future payments and keeps your alert running until the end of the period you have already paid for. Withdrawing is different — it is a statutory EU right to undo the purchase entirely and get a full refund, within 14 days of buying. Cancel your subscription.
