Referral Rewards Terms
How the reward works
When someone purchases a $9.90 AUD Premium alert using your referral link or code, they receive 20% off and you earn a reward equal to 20% of the price you paid.
You can earn rewards for your first 5 successful referred purchases, up to a maximum of 100% of what you paid. Your referral code may be shared publicly and used an unlimited number of times while it is active. All qualifying purchases receive 20% off, but only the first 5 earn a reward for you.
The referral program applies to the one-time $9.90 AUD Premium payment only. Purchases made on the “Pay monthly while you wait” plan do not receive the referral discount and do not count toward or earn a referral reward.
Who counts as a successful referral
A referral counts when someone successfully completes payment for a Premium alert using your referral link or code during your active referral window. The same person may use the code for multiple separate Premium alert purchases, and each successful purchase may count as a referral.
Free registrations, unpaid or incomplete purchases, disputed or reversed payments do not count. Receiving a referral reward does not affect whether a purchase qualifies.
If more than 5 qualifying purchases are made, the first 5 successful payments count toward your reward. Additional purchases can still receive the 20% discount while your referral code remains active.
Your referral window
Your referral window lasts for 7 days, starting when payment for your Premium alert is successfully completed.
A referred purchase must be successfully paid before the window expires. Opening the referral link, registering or starting checkout before expiry is not enough if payment is completed afterwards.
Once the 7-day window closes, your referral code expires and your final reward is calculated.
How and when you receive your reward
Your total reward is returned to your original payment method as a full or partial refund.
VisaCapAlert will submit the reward to Stripe within 7 days after your referral window closes.
Once submitted, the reward typically appears within 5–10 business days, depending on Stripe, your bank and your card issuer.
