About VisaCapAlert
VisaCapAlert launched in July 2026 as an independent Australian notification service focused specifically on Australian Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462) country-cap status changes.
We watch the Australian Government page that publishes those cap statuses and send you an alert when the country you chose changes, so you don’t have to keep checking it yourself.
What VisaCapAlert does
- Monitors the publicly available Australian Government page that publishes Work and Holiday (subclass 462) country-cap status.
- Checks that page every minute on Premium — up to 1,440 checks a day — and tracks published status changes such as PAUSED, OPEN and CLOSED.
- Emails you when the status of the single country you selected changes, with an optional WhatsApp notification you can add after payment.
What it does not do
- VisaCapAlert does not reserve or hold a visa place.
- VisaCapAlert does not submit your application.
- VisaCapAlert does not assess your eligibility.
- VisaCapAlert does not provide migration advice.
- VisaCapAlert does not guarantee a visa outcome.
- VisaCapAlert does not book visa appointments.
- VisaCapAlert is not a migration agent and is not a government service.
Status information comes from the official Department of Home Affairs country-cap status page. That government page can itself take up to 48 hours to reflect a change, so an alert tells you when a status change was published — not necessarily when the underlying decision was made. We have no privileged access to government information.

Our background
We're a Brazilian couple who moved to Australia more than 10 years ago. When friends and family began waiting for their country's Work and Holiday visa cap to reopen, we saw how frustrating it was to keep checking the government website and worrying about missing an update.
Combining our backgrounds in software engineering and business administration, we created VisaCapAlert to monitor published cap-status changes and notify people promptly when their selected country changes.
Independence and non-affiliation
VisaCapAlert.com is an independent Australian service. It is not affiliated with the Australian Government, the Department of Home Affairs, or other similarly named visa alert or visa appointment services.
We are a notification service and nothing more. Applying for a Work and Holiday visa is done through the Australian Government’s own process, and nothing on this site changes your eligibility, your place in a queue, or the outcome of an application.
Launch date
VisaCapAlert launched in July 2026. It has been operated by WONDRATECH PTY LTD under the Status Alert Technologies business name since then.
